Swordfish in the media
Swordfish making headlines in the local press!
Looks like our recent move has been stirring up the local media and bloggers! Steve Beauchampé of the Birmingham Press posted up an article last Thursday, saying that he’s “pleased to find a favourite alive and rockin’”. Cheers Steve!
Local blogger The Hearing Aid has been for a visit recently too, having soaking up the new atmosphere for “three happy hours” on our opening day. Be sure to check out the article here and follow on twitter (@TheHearingAid) if you’re a tweeter (perhaps follow us while you’re over there too).
Anyone who’s picked up the Sunday Mercury today may have spotted a couple of familiar faces pulling some cheesy poses in there:
You can read the article up on the Birmingham Post here.
Anyone that’s picked up the April edition of Brum Notes magazine may have spotted a mention in their news section. Head over here to read the whole thing, it’s a quality publication highlighting the best of Birmingham’s current music scene.
Cheers to all the journalists and bloggers out there that have given us a mention. If you run a website/newspaper/blog/anything, or know someone who does, please give us a call, drop us an email or find us on Facebook and Twitter and let us know. We’ll be happy to update this post to contain anything else written about us, and, of course, share it on our various social networks.
We really appreciate any coverage that we get, and we think that it’s beneficial to the Birmingham music scene in which it’s very exciting to be a part of right now!
