Table Scraps Instore – Saturday 18th of May

Hope everyone enjoyed our instore for Record Store Day last month, it was, of course, not our last and we’re glad to be able to announce more live music coming up at Swordfish!

If anyone thought that it was perhaps a bit too quiet and acoustic last time you’ll be glad to hear we have the all-electric, fuzzy guitar-based duo Table Scraps in to play a few songs. If anyone isn’t familiar with them, they’re made up of Scott Vincent Abbott, formerly of Vinny And The Curse, and Poppy Twist of Poppy And The Jezebels. They’ll be bringing a few copies of their cassette EP (with download included), check the artwork here:

Table Scraps are fresh from tearing up the Hare and Hounds in Kings Heath, and we’re sure should suit our new premises perfectly. It’ll be kicking off at 3pm and we will of course be restocking our funky fridge with a few beers, so come along, have a chat, browse some records & listen to some great local music!
